A FISHERMAN charged in connection with the death of a motorcyclist following a collision in March is due to appear in court.
James Merrix, of Southwick, is accused of causing death by driving without due care or consideration, while over the specified limit for a controlled drug (namely cannabis).
25-year-old Daniel Kinsella, from Brighton, died in hospital two days after the collision on the A259 at Portslade on March 16.
An inquest into Daniel’s death was opened last week but adjourned until March 2023 while Sussex Police’s investigation is completed.
The 35-year-old is due to appear before Brighton Magistrates’ Court on October 6 to face the charge.
