A PERSON has been hit by a train between between Haywards Heath and Gatwick.
Southern Rail said all lines are blocked while emergency services respond.
The announcement was made just after 6.30pm this evening.
A Southern Rail spokesman said: "It's with great sadness that we report a person has been hit by a train between Haywards Heath and Gatwick Airport.
"All lines are blocked while the emergency services deal with this incident.
"Service information will follow shortly."
