A busy street became an urban playground as part of the Brighton Festival.
An audience in New Road enjoyed a performance by Brighton-based Prodigal Theatre's Urban Playground Team, which examined the relationship between the human body and the built environment.
The performance on Monday blended the philosophy of parkour and free-running with elements of contemporary dance.
It was choreographed by Miranda Henderson and was staged by arts organisation Without Walls.
The performers were using the world's first purpose-built structure for parkour-inspired physical theatre, with the performers reacting to the structures as well as the street layout.
