THERE has been a crash involving a car and van on the A27.
The accident happened near the Drusillas Roundabout near Alfriston before 1pm.
There was around one mile of traffic on the westbound side approaching the roundabout.
There was also a mile of traffic on the eastbound stretching back to Selmeston.
The accident has now been cleared and delays are easing in the area.
Sussex Police have been approached for comment.
