POLICE have issued an update about a collision between a car and a cyclist.
The accident happened around 8.30am this morning on the B2191 Willingdon Drove, near the Premier Inn in Langney, near Eastbourne.
The road was partially blocked while emergency services attended the scene, with traffic backed up along the westbound side of the road.
A police spokeswoman confirmed that no serious injuries were reported in the incident.
She said: “Around 8.30am on Thursday, October 6, police responded to reports of a collision involving a car and a cyclist on Willingdon Drove, Eastbourne.
“No serious injuries were reported.
“The road was blocked temporarily while emergency services attended the scene, but has since reopened.”
