A MAN was killed after a collision between a car and a pedestrian in the city centre.
The man was badly injured following the collision in North Street and was taken to hospital by ambulance.
Sussex Police confirmed that he has now died from his injuries.
The road was closed for recovery and investigation and later re-opened.
The incident took place shortly before 1am on Saturday, October 8.
Police are appealing for witnesses, with anyone with either CCTV or dashcam footage from the area at the time asked to report it by emailing collision.appeal@sussex.police.uk, quoting Operation Longdown.
