A TOWN centre road was cordoned off by police following an incident.
A police cordon was also set up along Ceylon Place in Eastbourne, with an officer placing a set of evidence cones along the pavementÂ
Forensics officers were seen taking pictures outside a convenience store in nearby Seaside Road, with the area around the store taped off.
One officer could be seen with a camera, disinfectant wipes and several other items.
The incident is believed to have taken place at around 6pm yesterday evening.
Sussex Police have been contacted for comment.
