A CRASH has brought traffic to a virtual standstill along the A27.
The accident, between Carden Avenue at the Hollingbury-Ditchling junction and the A23 London Road in Patcham, has blocked the road westbound.
Traffic is stretching as far back as Falmer, with motorists facing severe delays.
Sussex Police have been contacted for comment.
