A MYSTERY man has won almost £100,000 in the National Lottery.

Known only as Mr M, he matched the five main numbers and one Lucky Star number in the EuroMillions draw.

He won £93,099.60 which he plans to use to buy a new home and treat his family.

Mr M, from Southampton, played a Lucky Dip on the National Lottery app on September 23.

He became one of more than eight million players that win every week in the National Lottery games.

Interactive winners can choose to release their names or remain anonymous.

Andy Carter at Camelot, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery, said: "What incredible news for Mr M for winning this fantastic prize.
