Police have provided an update on an early morning crash on the A27 which left a car smashed in the carriageway.
The crash happened this morning on the westbound side near the Fishbourne Roundabout, Chichester.
The driver, who was also the sole occupant, suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
There were delays of around 40 minutes on the westbound side while the carriageway was closed.
It has since reopened.
There was also ten minute delays on the eastbound stretch.
