How sad that in the background of the picture taken near the Steine fountain (The Argus, May 20) there are no flowers around the fountain - only weeds and a few sorry looking shrubs.
Looks like Ermintrude and her friends have grazed rather too much. Maybe next year they could graze elsewhere and give us back our gardens.
