Albion fans were left disappointed at the Amex after a goalless draw against Nottingham Forest.

Supporters packed out the stadium in the hope of seeing a first home win, or even a goal at home, since Roberto De Zerbi took the reins of the club in September.

However, the team failed to make the most of almost 90 minutes of domination against Forest, who are currently 19th in the Premier League, with the Seagulls left anguished after an attempt by Leandro Trossard to score struck the crossbar.

Pascal Gross was also denied a late goal by Forest goalkeeper Dean Henderson, before frustrated Albion fans jeered the stalemate at the full-time whistle.

De Zerbi conceded his side needed a greater attacking threat following three matches without a goal.

He said: "I say thank you to the players because they played a fantastic game.

"I am sorry for the result because in four games only two points is not too much."

He also said he knows a swift upturn in results is required.

"I don't want to speak too much about being unlucky or the result being unfair or similar things - I want to speak about the improvement we have to do very fast," he said.

Albion now sit in seventh place in the Premier League, behind Newcastle but ahead of Liverpool.
