Construction of an ice rink at the Royal Pavilion is all but complete ahead of its opening next week.
A platform for seasonal ice rink has been erected at the site in the centre of Brighton, with a tent for a rink-side bar and kitchen built.
A set of penguin skate aids have appeared at the ice rink, available to support small children while skating, with a range of ice skates also spotted.
Lighting rigs have been constructed at each corner of the rink, which will illuminate skaters in colour and light.
Christmas decorations could also be seen being hung up around the tent, with tables and chairs stacked up and waiting to be laid out for guests who will be visiting the rink over the festive season.
The ice rink, which opens to visitors from October 29, has welcomed skaters since 2010.
Tickets for 45-minute skate times are available online from £12 for those aged 12 and over and for £9 for children.
Penguin skate aids are available for children up to 1.2 metres tall at a cost of £3 and can also be booked online.
The 800sqm rink has space for 250 skaters per session and will be open until January 8.
