There are long delays following a crash involving a car and van on the A23.
The accident happened just before 12.45pm on the A23 southbound going towards Pyecombe.
Traffic is stretching past the Hurst turn off.
One car has been left overturned.
The crash happened opposite the Texaco garage on the A23.
Sussex Police confirmed that there were only minor injuries at the scene.
The force confirmed recovery was en route to the scene.
Delays are currently around 40 minutes.
