A helicopter has been spotted circling over the seafront after an 'incident'.
Footage from the scene also shows a lifeboat patrolling part of the beach.
An eyewitness at the scene said there was an "incident", with coastguard, police and RNLI on the scene.
The coastguard and RNLI have been approached for comment.
