Tributes have flooded in for the "most beautiful" woman who has been named as the victim in a murder investigation.

Deborah Gumbrell, 59, died following an incident in Northbourne Close in Shoreham on Monday.

James Gumbrell, 64, has been charged with murder and appeared at Crawley Magistrates Court yesterday.

He was remanded to appear at Lewes Crown Court tomorrow.

People on Facebook paid tribute to the “caring” and “chatty” mother who worked at Marks and Spencer in Brighton for many years.

Friends said the devoted Liverpool fan will be “sorely missed”.
