This celebration of the cream of the city's venues will see numerous events, parties and promotions taking place across Brighton and Hove.
There will be live shows from the much-vaunted Shona Foster, indie-pop outfit Gloria Cycles and eccentric rockers Doll And The Kicks.
Brighton Bar Week will also host the official launch of this summer's Beachdown Festival, which will be held over August bank holiday in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the South Downs, just north of Brighton.
This new festival will offer music, film and comedy across four stages, as well as secure camping and family areas.
Acts already confirmed include Jazzy Jeff, Nouvelle Vague, Roy Ayers, Horace Andy, Hercules & Love Affair, Bonobo and The Hat.
