Hundreds queued to get a glimpse of "Brighton's best Halloween house."

The house, in Highcroft Villas, was decorated with lights, robotics and scenes from Stranger Things.

There were also actors dressed up to scare trick-or-treaters.

Queues of people went all the way down the road and cars were backed up in the street trying to get a glimpse of the spooky spectacle.

The property is home to Ollie Slim and his husband Ollie Blackaby, who are self-confessed Halloween fanatics.

They have been decorating their house for 13 years and fundraising for Macmillan while doing so for a decade.

This year, the house was decorated in the theme of the hit Netflix series Stranger Things.

Children and adults alike queued to get a look at the house for themselves.

One trick-or-treater told the Argus: "This is hands down the best Halloween house in Brighton."

The house takes weeks to set up, but Ollie and his husband open it to the public for just one night.

"We set it up in advance because it takes so long," said Ollie.

"We live near two schools so the children get to see it on their way to and from school."

This year, the fundraiser is in honour of the couple's friend Steven Reid, who died of cancer in February.

Ollie and his husband set a target of £5,000 for their fundraiser. So far, they have raised over £4,000 online.

They typicall raise around £1,500 from donations on the night so they are on track to beat their target.
