Brighton and Hove is one of the best equipped cities for electric vehicles, according to a new study.
With the government looking to ban non-electric car sales by 2030 and the heightened interest in electric cars in 2022 since the petrol price increase, ClickThrough Marketing analysed the number of electric vehicle charging points and electric vehicles registered in the UK to find which cities are most prepared for an all-electric vehicle future.
Brighton and Hove was revealed as the second most equipped, with ClickThrough Marketing finding there are 982 charging points in the area, which worked out at 8.17 charging points per 100 registered electric vehicles and 4.65 charging points per 1,000 driving licence holders.
Worcester is currently the best equipped city, with 12.1 electric vehicle charges per 100 electric vehicle drivers in the area.
