Police have released CCTV footage of a seafront theft in a bid to find witnesses.

They are looking to identify a man a following the theft of a rucksack outside Volk's Club in Madeira Drive, Brighton, on Saturday, October 1.

The rucksack was stolen while equipment was being loaded into a van.

The black Hershel Retreat bag contained an Apple MacBook, a Samsung Galaxy S8 and a Steinberg C1 audio interface, worth hundreds of pounds.

Police ask that any local businesses or individuals report an item of this description being offered for sale.

The CCTV has been obtained showing a man officers would like to speak to. 

He is white, about 5ft 8in and medium build.

He has brown hair, with blond highlights and is clean shaven. He is believed to be aged between 18 and 30.
