Barcombe Mills Road, Barcombe, is closed due to severe flooding following heavy rain yesterday and during the night.
Yesterday, Sussex was hit with a third of its monthly rainfall in one day.

And following on from a yellow weather warning for rain that was in force from midnight to 3pm yesterday, another yellow warning for thunderstorms was issued from 8pm last night to 6am this morning.
