A 22-year-old man was knocked down by a car early today.
Police were called to Old Steine, Brighton, at about 3.30am.
He was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton with a head injury but his condition is not thought to be life-threatening.
Brighton and Hove road policing unit is appealing for anybody who saw the collision to contact them on 0845 6070999.
