Two men have been charged on suspicion of burglary after money was stolen in a break-in at a Greggs.
Police were alerted after an alarm was activated at the premises in Montague Street in Worthing at around 4am on October 9, with cash stolen from the store.
Patrick Knight, 51, of no fixed address, and Robert May, 48, also of no fixed address have been charged with the offence after being arrested on October 17.
Knight has been released on bail and May has been remanded in custody.
Both men will appear for trial at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on January 25.
