A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm and resisting arrest.
It comes after an incident where a man locked himself in an address in Cheviot Walk, Crawley, yesterday morning.
Police officers engaged with him to ensure he was safe.

Later, a 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm, and on suspicion of resisting arrest.
Police say this was an isolated incident and did not pose a wider threat to the community.
The suspect remains in police custody.
