I am horrified to learn that the Princess Royal Hospital and St Richard's hospitals will be downgraded in the near future (The Argus, May 29).
We have all said and written many words on this subject but facts stare us in the face - we need all of these hospitals in full working order.
The pressure for more building goes on and will, in fact, happen, with so many more people needing these services.
We all know for a fact people will die trying to reach hospital in an emergency. I wouldn't want this decision on my conscience.
