The Admiral in Brighton unveils new look in time for World Cup

The Admiral, in Elm Grove, Brighton, has now opened its doors on its new contemporary look and feel following a significant joint investment.

The pub’s transformation comes courtesy of independent pub operators Punch Pubs and Co, and its new publican Toby Armitage, who promises to steer the venue in an “exciting new direction”.

The pub’s interiors are now a vibrant showcase of “Instagrammable” street art that adds “instant energy” to the large open-plan bar area, along with plenty of bench-style seating to suit groups large and small.

Aiming to keep its guests entertained there are now pub games, a new large TV’s and a projector.

The pub has also reopened with a new menu that offers a wide range of meals including brunch-style bites and pizzas by the slice.

Those visiting the pub between now and Sunday, November 20 can also take advantage of the pub’s opening offer- 50 per cent off is available on certain drinks and dishes.

Publican Toby, who formerly managed the well-known Portsmouth pub The One-Eyed Dog, said he cannot wait for guests to experience and enjoy the Admiral’s new and improved atmosphere and “late night vibe”.

Speaking ahead of the pub’s launch, he said: “People are going to be blown away by the transformation, the investment has brought a whole new energy to the building and made it a real head turner. It’s going to be the perfect place to party.”

Operations manager at Punch Pubs and Co, Julian-James Mobbs said: “We’re delighted to have been able to invest in providing the city with such a fabulous modern late night venue.
