People in parts of Sussex are being warned heavy rain could continue throught the morning with up to 15mm of rain in three hours.

Brighton and Hove and West Sussex are among areas being warned of the risk of flash flooding.

The Met Office is warning heavy rain could last until 10am.

Drivers reported standing water on main roads including the A29 near Bognor.

Members of the public are being asked to take extra care and motorists are being advised to check the Highways Agency for advice on road disruption.
