A Sussex city is one of the best places to catch a glimpse of Father Christmas.
New research from rubbish removal company Clear It Waste Clearances (CIW) revealed Chichester as the second-best city in the UK to see Father Christmas and his reindeers in the sky this Christmas.
The company used light pollution data to determine the top ten list.
Using a seed list of all UK cities with a population above 100,000, CIW used lightpollutionmap.info, establishing through three data sources which city has the best chance of seeing Father Christmas fly over.
The top ten UK cities to spot Father Christmas:
- Winchester, Hampshire
- Chichester, West Sussex
- Bath, Somerset
- Colchester, Essex
- Worcester, West Midlands
- Lichfield, Staffordshire
- Cambridge, Cambridgeshire
- Chelmsford, Essex
- Oxford, Oxfordshire
- Exeter, Devon
