I am sadly beginning to understand why Britain doesn't win the Eurovision Song Contest (The Argus, May 24).
We don't produce any powerful, interesting voices or stage acts that anybody will remember.
I was more drawn to the other countries' performances and antics on stage this year than to our own.
Do we really deserve to win the title? Last year's Serbian winner, who resembled Wee Jimmy Krankie, had a strong, powerful voice. When she opened the contest I was spellbound.
Andy Abraham sounded weak in comparison.
