A man has been arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol after a man and woman were seriously injured in a car crash.
The 77-year-old woman and 18-year-old man, both from Emsworth, have been taken to hospital with serious injuries following the collision involving two cars in Main Road in Bosham.
Police and ambulance services were called to the accident on Friday at around 2pm.
The man, 27, from Chichester, has also been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.
He has since been released on conditional bail while enquiries continue. Sussex Police are continuing their investigations to establish how the crash occurred.

They are also appealing for witnesses to the crash as part of their investigations.
