Trains are not serving Littlehampton this morning.
Southern warned that due to a shortage of signalling staff, services to and from Littlehampton may be cancelled or altered at short notice.
Disruption is expected until 10am.
A spokesman said: “Littlehampton station will not be served until further notice.
“If you are travelling to or from Littlehampton, you will need to leave extra time and use an alternative route to complete your journey. Ticket acceptance is in place on Stagecoach 700 buses, so you can use these at no extra cost.”

Southern services will be subject to the following changes this morning:
Trains between Littlehampton and Portsmouth Harbour will run between Barnham and Portsmouth Harbour.
Trains between Littlehampton and London Victoria will run between Bognor Regis and London Victoria.
Trains between Littlehampton and Bognor Regis will be cancelled until further notice.
