A woman was trapped in a two-car crush on a motorway.
Two cars collided on the M23, crushing both vehicles and leaving one woman trapped.
Turners Hill and Crawley firefighters attended the incident.
The motorway was closed by Sussex Police while firefighters extricated the woman using hydraulic rescue equipment.
She was taken to hospital by South East Coast Ambulance Service.
