A broken down bus has been seen smoking from its engine on a main road.
The Brighton and Hove bus was seen on the A27 westbound just before Falmer.
An eyewitness said the bus appeared to be "smoking loads from its engine".
A spokesman for Brighton and Hove buses said: "We are aware of a broken down bus on the A27.
"It is a coolant leak and the vehicle may have to be recovered.
"All passengers are being looked after."
