A studio apartment was listed for sale for just £100,000 making it the cheapest flat in Brighton.

The flat, based in St George’s Place in North Laine, measures just 19 square metres and consists of a single room and a bathroom.

Situated on the first floor, the flat was listed on property site Rightmove on November 16 and has since been sold at auction.

Pictures of the flat show the interior with orange walls and several appliances.

A small kitchen can be found at the end of the studio flat with a number of damage marks to the paint and black marks on the walls.

A bathroom in the flat also features a cracked mirror with a small window in the room.

The studio flat was eventually sold at auction on November 30 for £109,000.

Housing Agents Nicholas James said that the price of the property had been limited by the size of the house as well as the shorter lease on the property.
