I felt the article on John Harrington suggested that he was the only jeweller in Brighton selling conflict-free diamonds (The Argus, May 31). All diamonds available to buy in this country are conflict-free as a result of the Kimberley process, which is explained on the website www.kimberleyprocess.com.
I have owned a Brighton jewellery company since 1994 and find it quite insulting for an article to suggest that other jewellers are not ethical.
