A man has died after being hit by a car, police have confirmed.
The 86-year-old pedestrian was seriously injured in a collision with a Ford Focus in Old Harrow Road, St Leonards.
He was taken to hospital but later died. His next of kin have been informed.
The driver was unharmed in the collision, which happened on Saturday at around 12.28pm.

Police are now appealing for witnesses.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the incident and police would like to speak to anybody who witnessed the incident or the events leading up to it, or anybody with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage.”
