The Santa Bus has been cancelled this evening as adverse weather continues across the county.

Brighton and Hove Buses announced that Father Christmas would not be visiting tonight as cold and snowy weather has made conditions unsafe.

The bus was meant to visit Patcham tonight.

In a statement, Brighton and Hove Buses said: "Following a thorough route assessment, and due to adverse weather causing very icy pavements, we have had no choice but to cancel tonight’s Santa Bus.

"We understand that this is very disappointing."
