Motorists are facing severe delays on the A27 this evening.
Traffic for three miles on A27 Ranscombe Hill Eastbound at Ranscombe Lane near Lewes, where tavel time is around 20 minutes.
Further east, near Falmer, the A27 Westbound is partially blocked.
One lane is blocked due to a "traffic problem".
The lane is blocked from A270 Stanmer Park, Falmer to Coldean Lane at the Hollingbury / Ditchling junction.
