As a family business, Sussex Logs prides itself on affordable prices for high quality wood. 

Their logs are typically a mixture of ash, oak and beech and are available in full or half loads.

Logs are cut to the customer's preferred length, and they offer a free delivery service to anyone within a 10 mile radius of Worthing.

One dumpy bag of logs costs £85 and kindling is £5 per bag.

Sussex Timber Co., Wiston

Based in Wiston, Sussex Timber Co. sells everything you need to get a fire roaring in your home. 

Alongside seasoned firewood logs, cut from English hardwood, they sell kindling and firelighters.

Black Dog Forestry in Wiston sells seasoned hardwoods and charcoal to suit different types of fireplace. 

Delivery within a 25 mile radius of Wiston is free for all firewood orders of £95 or more, and charcoal orders of £20 more.

Kindling costs £6.50, and one cubic metre of their signature Black Dog log mix costs £95.

Japonica Nursery, Walberton

Open every day from 9am to 3pm, Japonica Nursery sells small bags of logs from as little as £5, or three for £12.

For those looking for a larger load, a bulk bag sells for £75.

Offering free delivery to Lewes, Brighton and the surrounding areas, Lewes Logs is a good option if you need later opening hours.

It is open from 7am to 7pm daily and logs can be ordered easily using their online form.

They supply hardwoods, seasoned for at least 18 months, which "will burn at a slow and steady rate".

Delivering withing a 25 mile radius of Hailsham, Firewood Logs Sussex sells bulk bags of premium hardwoods.
