ArrDee said he would “make a banger” if he collaborated with DJ Fatboy Slim for a song.

The rapper, 20, real name Riley Davies, thinks a song between the two could happen in the near future.

Fatboy Slim was at one of ArrDee’s shows at the Concorde in Madeira Drive, Brighton, in March.

ArrDee, who grew up in Woodingdean and went to Hove Park School, was speaking to The Argus at the launch party on the i360 for his rum brand Litty Liquor on Tuesday.

He said: “I think me and him can make a banger. I don’t know how we’d go about it, whether it would be him bringing me out on one of his sets and we go from there or maybe I sample something of his and get his blessing.

“Or he makes something completely from scratch for me and comes out of his comfort zone.

“Again, it’s something that I’m more than up for. He already knows this anyway, we got each other’s numbers. I’m sure it will happen in the near future.”

Fatboy Slim previously told The Argus that he has a lot of mutual friends with Riley and that “anything is possible”.

The DJ, real name Norman Cook, pointed towards a song he did with rap duo Rizzle Kicks in 2011 called Mama Do The Hump.

ArrDee told The Argus in February that he is “incredibly proud” to call Brighton his home.

He said: “It made me who I am, not just as an artist but as a person. I would say I am comfortable and confident in my own skin, and Brighton I think played a massive part in that.

“It isn’t a judgemental town, and you can be who you want to be, and you can recreate yourself.

“It definitely has a massive role to play in my character and in my brand, my music and everything.”

ArrDee rose to prominence in 2021 when he featured in the remix of Russ Millions’ and Tion Wayne’s song Body.

He released his first album Pier Pressure in March.
