Ferry passengers have been urged to check their journeys as Border Force strike action may affect their travel plans.
Strikes by the public and commercial services union from December 23 to 26 and December 28 to 31 may affect ferry passengers travelling on DFDS's Newhaven-Dieppe route over the festive period.
A spokesman for DFDS said: "We are working closely with local and regional authorities and will continue to run a full schedule of services.
"We are advising all passengers travelling on affected dates to allow plenty of time to pass through border control."
Travellers are told to check the latest information on DFDS's social media channels and on its website before they travel.
Those who wish to amend their crossing to travel on dates not affected by these strikes, then they may do so by calling (+44) 03305878787 from a UK number or (+33) 0809 541 890 from France.
According to DFDS, amendments to bookings will not incur an amendment fee, but the difference in fare to change the booking will be payable.
