While it was good to have been at the Brighton Dome to see Gore Vidal (The Argus, May 25), the acoustics let him down.
The interviewer was loud and sycophantic and Gore's soft voice didn't carry far enough. The microphones for the audience's questions did not work well and it was late starting and finished early.
