One lane is blocked on the A27 after gale force winds blew a tree into the road.
The A27 Westbound entry slip road at Falmer has one lane blocked.
Traffic in the immediate area is slow but it has not caused knock-on delays so far.
Recovery is on the way to attend to a broken down vehicle.
Sussex Police are at the scene and have successfully removed the tree.
