Hundreds of electricity customers have been left without power in Sussex this morning due to a power outage
Hundreds of homes and businesses are without electricity this morning following a power outage.
Roughly 350 energy customers have been affected by the outage in Bexhill.
The power failure covers the TN38 9, TN39 3 and TN39 4 postcode areas, including parts of Bexhill and the outskirts of Hastings.
UK Power Networks is working to restore power by around 11am this morning.
A spokesman for the firm said that an underground electricity cable faulted on their high-voltage network, causing the outage.
