A beach hut has been destroyed as strong winds batter the coast.

The hut on Hove seafront, near the King Alfred Leisure Centre, blew over earlier today and collapsed in the storm.

Its wooden panelling was strewn across the promenade and the lawns behind and the contents were exposed to the elements.
