Emergency services were called to the scene of a plane crash in Shoreham.

Fire crews from Shoreham and Worthing, alongside police and the ambulance service, were called to the incident earlier this afternoon after the aircraft crashed at Mill Hill, roughly one and a half miles away from Shoreham Airport.

It is not yet known whether the aircraft took off from or was attempting to land at the airport.

The aircraft, believed to be Cessna, was seen facing nose down in a field, suffering some damage to its undercarriage.
