A man has been arrested on suspicion of a sexual assault in a town centre bar.
Officers were called to the disturbance inside and later outside Yates Wine Bar in Cambridge Road in Hastings in the early hours of December 18.
The 35-year-old man was later arrested by police on suspicion of sexual assault, as well as possession of a Class A drug, racially aggravated harassment, and drunk and disorderly behaviour.
He remains on bail while the investigation continues.
Police are seeking to trace witnesses of the incident and are looking to identify the victim of the sexual assault.
