A shoe store has shut up shop for good.
Pictures show Shoe Zone in Broad Street, Seaford, has now closed its doors permanently.
The closest branch to the town is now in Eastbourne.
A sign on the shop’s front says: “We are sorry to say goodbye.
“Visit your nearest store: Eastbourne.”
In 2021, Shoe Zone ceased all its operations in Ireland with the closure of all its stores and its website.
Shoe Zone’s departure comes as clothes retailer M&Co also announced it could close its branch in Seaford.
Almost 200 of M&Co's stores are at risk of closure after it fell into administration in December.
A new buyer is being sought for the business.
Seaford was also dealt a blow in January last year when much loved Dymock Farm Shop ceased trading after 40 years.
Jonathan and Pat Franklin, owners of the farm shop decided to retire after running the business since the 1980s.
The site continues as a working farm.
