A 12-year-old boy was taken to hospital with a serious leg injury after being hit by a car.
The crash happened yesterday afternoon at 3.10pm in Cowley Drive, Woodingdean.
Ambulance crews took the 12-year-old to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.
Sussex Police said enquiries are ongoing but there are “not believed to be any suspicious circumstances”.
The family of the boy said on Facebook that “thankfully it was a sensible driver who wasn’t speeding”.
