Firefighters were called to a kitchen fire at a home.
Three fire engines were in attendance in Sidcup Close, Eastbourne, last night at around 6.20pm.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service confirmed there were no injuries reported at the scene.
Firefighters carried out a charred oven which was still smoking.
Two fire engines from Eastbourne and one from Seaford attended the blaze.
Firefighters attended another kitchen fire in Eastbourne on Monday night.
The fire service advised people to have a home safety visit and said more information can be found on its website.
